Product Description Sony Pictures The Fifth Element (Blu-ray) New York cab driverKorben Dallas didn't mean to be a hero. But he just picked up the kind of fare that only comes along every five thousand years a perfect beauty, a perfect being, a perfect weapon. Now, together, theymust save the world. Bruce Willis, Milla Jovovich, and Gary Oldman star in acclaimed director Luc Besson's outrageous sci-fi adventure, an extravagantly styled tale of good against evil set in an unbelievable twenty-third century world.
Amazon.com essential video Ancient curses, all-powerful monsters, shape-changing assassins, scantily-clad stewardesses, laser battles, huge explosions, a perfect woman, a malcontent hero--what more can you ask of a big-budget science fiction movie? Luc Besson's high-octane film incorporates presidents, rock stars, and cab drivers into its peculiar plot, traversing worlds and encountering some pretty wild aliens. Bruce Willis stars as a down-and-out cabbie who must win the love of Leeloo (Milla Jovovich) to save Earth from destruction by Jean-Baptiste Emmanuel Zorg (Gary Oldman) and a dark, unearthly force that makes Darth Vader look like an Ewok. --Geoff Riley

Pretty Sweet May 8, 2008 The Fifth Element (Remastered) Blu-ray is a pretty sweet movie. I have always like the movie Fifth Element but creating this movie as Blu-ray only makes this movie that much sweeter. My advice is if you have the funds go a head and purchase this movie because it is pretty sweet.

I find myself never tiring of watching this film...each time I watch it...I still enjoy watching the cast in action...
5th Element Blue-Ray April 29, 2008 Looks amazing, but thought there would be some more extras. All in all a great buy
Great movie, sharp picture April 26, 2008 The Fifth Element is one of my favorite sci-fi movies, and this Blu-ray release of it is obviously the best version you can get. The picture is sharp, the colors are vibrant, and the sound is crisp. I originally bought the DVD when it was released. Then I purchased the "SuperBit" version when that came out. It was better, but still left a lot to be desired. This version is near perfect. The movie's age only shows a little bit here and there with some graininess in the picture, but it was never enough to bother me. Considering the price of this movie, I know you won't regret it. Buy it now!
An oldy but digital elements remastered April 23, 2008 I was expecting a slight improvment over DVD. The Blue Ray edition (Remastered) exceeded all expectations. Being regionally unlocked for all zones meant it played in zone region 4 and 2 machines. Highly recommended.
